I awoke this morning to a beautiful view of all white outside. Here in Virginia, this is the second big snow we have gotten this winter which is big for us since we rarely get a significant amount of snow. It is so BEautiful outside!
The eye colors I decided to talk about today are inspired by the gorgeous view outside from the mountain that I live on. The 2 colors pictured are snowflake (left) and twilight(right). They are two stunning colors that look beautiful paired together for a winter eye look. Snowflake looks great as a highlight under the brow or all over the lid up to the brow. Twilight is actually an eye color but I use it as an eye liner also since it is dark enough. Twilight is a deep midnight cobalt shimmery blue with sparkles in it. Twilight is a beautiful bold color and can be used as a liner to make an eye shadow combo really pop. Snowflake is more on the matte side with a bit of sparkle.
For a simple look use:
- Bare Escentuals Snowflake eye shadow from lash (all over lid) to the brow
- Twilight very lightly on the outer half of the lid and into the contour and crease.
- Twilight wetlined (using simply water) on the upper lashline
- Twilight smudged dry on the lower lashline.
