There Must Have Been Wild Angels…

I’ve been singing “Wild Angels” by Martina McBride in my head, so I thought that I would write about one of my favorite soft purple colors called of course, HALO.

I would have posted my eye look from today, but it’s a little worse for wear after being on for 13 hours . Today however, I did a soft pink/purple combo with a pop of deep smoky purple liner. A favorite for me. Although I didn’t wear Halo today, it is great to use when trying to achieve this look.  Halo is a very soft lavender medium purple that is mostly matte with only a little shimmer to it. It is very soft and forgiving and it is hard to overdo this eye color as it applies sheerly and blends beautifully. Two simple ways to wear this color is to pair it with a soft pink like Skinny Dip (I wore this today) or bikini. The other way is to wear this alone on the lid. It is not too dark to do this and it still looks soft and pretty by itself. This is a very versatile color and can be worn and blended with many other colors. I love the soft and dreamy look that it can give, it definitely lives up to it’s name.
